​Laura is an experienced & compassionate counselor who enjoys working with clients who may be experiencing a variety of mental health issues or personal challenges. She is most interested in helping clients achieve a better quality of life by reducing or eliminating troubling mental health symptoms or resolving relationship issues. Laura also has a special interest in helping clients who are dealing with the effects of trauma. She has experience assisting people who may be dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems as well. Laura offers individual, couples, group, and crisis counseling for adults and adolescents. She is available for both in person and video conference sessions. Laura prefers morning and early afternoon sessions but also has some limited availability in the evening as needed.

Maria is an experienced counselor who has worked with PCS for a number of years.  Maria has training and experience with both mental health & substance abuse issues. She enjoys working with clients who need counseling and a number of specialty topics such as parenting education, anger management, teens transitioning to young adulthood, and LGBTQ+ clients. She feels strongly about assisting people who need an unbiased professional to assist with overcoming the challenges they face. Maria especially likes helping immigrants and adult children of immigrants who are in need of an understanding counselor. She is also available for any Spanish speaking clients. Maria can do both in person and video conference sessions. She has evening hours and Saturday appointment times.

Lisa Dickens, MS, CADC

Lisa is an experienced & dedicated addiction counselor who can assist client's with a variety of substance abuse issues. She has worked in all levels of substance use counseling from outpatient level one through residential treatment.  Lisa can help with assessment & referral, outpatient treatment and relapse prevention.  Lisa is also well versed in helping with DUI and court ordered counseling. She is capable of doing DUI evaluations, Risk Education classes and DUI counseling. Lisa enjoys helping people get their lives back on track after dealing with the negative impact of alcohol & drug use issues. She has had training & experience in dealing with dual diagnosis issues, trauma, and relationship building. Lisa is available primarily for video conference and tele-health sessions. She has flexible hours and can accomodate most peoples scheduling needs.

Vicki is the founder of Personal Counseling Services (PCS).  The agency first opened its doors for business in August 1991. The goal at PCS is to help families and individuals improve their lives utilizing counseling techniques tailored to their specific needs.  We strive to treat each person who comes in for services with dignity & compassion.  In the complex and often stressful world we live in today, people need a safe haven to explore options for healing.  Vicki has always believed that people have within themselves the ability to tackle tough problems with the right guidance and support. In her spare time Vicki enjoys spending time with family, friends, her horse and her dog. Her hobbies include reading, photography, horseback riding, camping, tennis, & pickle ball.
